SunView allows an application to detect when the pointer is still; we use
it to highlight a manipulatable screen object when the pointer has been
motionless over it for .2s.  Is there anyway to achieve the same thing
under OpenWindows?  X11 only seems to provide for pointer motion events.

If there is no EASY way of doing this, I would like to add it to the X11R5
wishlist.
