I don't know about boat anchors, but I've been running a Z449 and a
Zenith 1390 analog monitor for a couple of years now with no problems
(Knock on wood).  If anyone ever asked my opinion, however, I wouldn't
recommend one as a solo purchase. If, on the other hand, a business or
college was contemplating acquiring 500 or so, I'd say do it! They would
have the clout to get service & systems info. It's lonely as a single
