Message-ID: <1990Jul20.090005.4875@canon.co.uk> Date: 20 Jul 90 09:00:05 GMT Distribution: comp Organization: Canon Research Europe, Guildford, UK Lines: 20 We are considering moving to Framemaker. I know that we can have a floating license serving our Suns, but we would also want it running on our Macs (MacOS and A/UX) and NeXT. Do we need three sets of licenses, or is there some way to unify them? What is the upgrade policy for Framemaker? We would want to get hold of 2.0 for sunview right away... but the product we really want is the NeWS version for OpenWindows. Anyone from the UK care to comment on buying direct from the US? I understand that about pound for dollar is the current UK premium. ------------- David Lau-Kee Canon Research Centre Europe, 17/20 Frederick Sanger Rd, Surrey Research Park, Guildford, Surrey, GU25YD, UK.
