The advantages of TeX and friends are obvious, especially to me, but the user friendliness of word processors is also considered highly desirable, especially for repetitive tasks such as letter writing. Question: Is there a friendly interface that produces TeX output or (even better) that can edit TeX files (a limited subset would be acceptable) in the word processor manner? Surely such a thing exists, or am I the only person dreaming of the best of both worlds?
