It sounds like you're working with a fairly old web2c system.
Perhaps you should get a new Unix tape. (Contact Elizabeth
Tachikawa, elisabet@max.acs.washington.edu for more information.
By the way folks, her salary is paid in part by the money from
those tapes and you'll find that she's a very helpful and
knowledgable person.)
