What would be a good reference for the rational and history of
all the neat new features in the newer Unices, since (gasp) SV2.
I've finally had the chance to move into the present, but my sys admin
habits were all ingrained on older systems.

Good technically oriented yet chatty reference books?  Journal
articles?  Whatever.  Thanks
