I run a UNIX box, which I routinely (daily) call with a DOS machine running Procomm+, and I find the vt102 mode to be great. I had BIG troubles using it until I turned off the "destructive backspace" setting in setup. I think it was in the terminal emulation section of the setup. Once I did that, I was able to edit fine using vi.
