Texas CS Dept., Austin, Texas Lines: 18 I get this message from the kernel every once in a while. I'm running AIX 2.2.1, which is a System V rel. 2 derivative. I've been told, by someone who has access to the AIX source code, that the message is printed from the file core.c, but he couldn't figure out under what conditions it's printed. Does anyone out there have System V Rel. 2 source code they could check for this message? I'd like to know why it occurs. In case anyone is interested, no core file is produced. In fact, nothing happens at all except that the message is printed on the console. It could be that this message is specific to AIX, but I doubt it. Send responses to me and I'll summarize. ---Jason jason@cs.utexas.edu (512) 326-9102
