The CLOCK.SPX blanker does NOT like to have the regular clock running. Normally I keep the clock in ICON mode (digital) so I know the time. If I closed the clock, All was OK. With the clock, all files in the directory AFTER CLOCK.SPX were not found. REMOVE CLOCK.SPX and all functions normally again. BTW: does anyone know if the SDK will work at all with Turbo C (or C++)? EMAIL appreciated. Jerry
