I am trying to get the samples that come with the SDK to run but am
unable to get them linked (unresolved externals). I am new to the SDK
and see that the sample makefiles have an extra parameter (,xxxxxx.DEF) 
on the link line (extra meaning I've never seen this before). I am 
wondering if I have an outdated version of link. I am using ver. 3.69
of the MS Overlay linker. Please e-mail directly to me.  Thanks.
