Your NOTE is the KEY!!! Windows will allow DOS Apps to multitask if and only if you are running in 386 Enhanced mode. In standard mode, there is no multitasking of DOS apps. Also, just for the record, note that ALL Windows Apps are considering "multi-tasking" ... no matter what mode you run Windows in. -- David G.
