Who died and made Goodearl queen??? I like the binaries. If you cannot live with that, tuff. While windows binaries may technically belong in comp.binaries.ibm.pc, that would be totally inappropriate considering there is a separate discussion for windows also. EVERY effort I have seen in the last year to establish a special news group for windows binaries or windows source has been met with the comments (probably from people with good FTP access to someplace that has them.) that "we don't need it" or " the news bandwidth is too full already". I think there are a lot of people, including myself, who disagree. There are so many "junk" newsgroups out there that do nothing, that having a newsgroup for windows binaries (that would at least be useful for a few people) can do any more harm to the new bandwidth that has been already done. I suggest, Mr. Goodearl, that if you don't like binaries appearing here, that *YOU* set up a separate newsgroup, and quit trying to dictate the actions of others. Wayne Vieira Cray Research Inc.
