Message-ID: <1461@software.software.org> Date: 23 Jul 90 20:33:47 GMT Sender: news@software.org Reply-To: lai@software.org (Kwo-Long Lai) Organization: Software Productivity Consortium, Herndon, Virginia Lines: 31 Having applied 11 patches(1-11) to X11R4, I've found certain windows(e.g. dclock which was configured to be present in all the xrooms.) grew about 20 pixels each time that I switched xrooms. I traced the problem and found that the problem disappeared when using the old twm (without patches, both xrooms and twm were recompiled against with new libraries - i.e. with 11 patches.) Does anyone have the same problem? In addition, I've found that I have to run both twm and xrooms locally in order to get xrooms working properly.(i.e. if either one running from a remote box, xrooms would not bring up the appropriate x-windows based upon .xroomsrc.) Environment: SunOS4.0.3 on Sun[34] and the original version of xrooms - any patches out yet? Btw, has a public-domain binary version of swm been distributed yet? -- Kwo-Long Lai Software Productivity Consortium 2214 Rock Hill Rd. Herndon, VA 22070 (703) 742-7244 Uucp: uunet!software!lai
