This allowed you to set up your display, positioning all the windows etc .. just right, where they went when closed blah blah ... and then you could execute "toolplaces > .suntools" and this would create your startup file to postion everything when invoking sunview. Does such a thing exist under/for X11/R3 (if I can get a bigger disk for my sun I'll try R4 ... Any one know how much room R4 will take -> uncompressed, everything compiled, bare minimum compiled .....?). If not is it worth writing one?
