I have done this before by using Xt based widgets with different application contexts (XtApp...), but the xview toolkit didn't seem to have anything similar. Am I going to have a problem with opening multiple connections and expecting the widgets to behave independently ? Also, in reading the #7 O'Reilly book (by Dan Heller) I found the discussion of the restrictions imposed by the event handler (Notifier) restrictive. No system(3) calls if you are on a SunOS ? Any comments and experiences would be appreciated. Thanks, Paul. Paul O. Perry MITRE Corporation Phone: (617) 271-5641 Burlington Road ARPA: pop@mitre.org Bedford, MA 01730 -- Paul O.
