The problem was that when he moved the cursor out of the color screen it changed to the usual blanked background. I think this might be happening because he has a cgfour device and it is detecting the cursor moving off the color screen and switching the color screen to mono. I looked at the server options to see if this 'feature' could be disabled but nothing was obvious. Anyone know how to do this ? Thanks, Paul. -- Paul O.
