I want to build X11R4 on a DECstation 5000 running ULTRIX 4.0. Before I start I want to know if there are any files or procedures I have to change. What will I have to be aware of? Any help will be greatly appreciated. I built a client only version last weekend (no servers, I use DEC's server since I have a PX). The only thing you have to do is edit main.c for client/xterm and relace "fileno(stderr) = i;" with "stderr->_file = i" (this is claimed to be related to POSIX compliance). Otherwise all went well and everything works fine. Chris -- Christopher Robin Thewalt These opinions are not necessarily thewalt@ce.berkeley.edu shared by my employer...
