I'm trying to compile X11R4 on a Sparc running 4.0.3.
After running into/fixing various small problems, I've run against
the following bugaboo:

ld.so: libXmu.so.4: not found

From what I can tell, the file it should be looking for is libXmu.so.4.0,
which exists.  I've made links from /usr/lib to each of X11R4's libX*.so.4.0 
files.

Any help with this would be appreciated.
