If you make a binary release of Motif and ship it with your system (paying $40 to OSF) you cannot also ship the sources to the demo programs (at least by my reading of the license). But the demo source is the real "manual" on how to program Motif widgets and the various books on Motif are based on the sources for these demo programs. It would be nice of the binary distribution license said you could ship the Motif binaries plus the sources for the things in the 'sample' directory. -- Robert Adams adams@littlei.intel.com ...!uunet!littlei!adams X-Face: P;c7j*q8X`{:N9lq6O1Gfwp]V"g%ye=D02@.mNyUTP$|TwR'rb)t|NAX{Nh%~E(#AA(\o6O %*`PBmEV|8\|1h_g?|9 T9z?EPW,lQV3p}7Xv[6jV(q,ghd).M(ul7|cJjcf6;`6K:;hgv]9=6v&>3Y=>h3"23x("uHz4_&\75 J`aE[zoT,Y9?B~GrZwQM72M#'-~MSTD-hP?P~a-/"o|"W2"<.'F9+yIOJm=!O4=:K`=SBUs9Z9?
