I am using Motif on a Sun 4/110 with the xnews preFCS sever.  I like to use
mailtool, which is a Sunview program converted to X.  As such, it does not
have all the standard X command line switchs that a normal client does.  The
problem is, when the program is started the window that it creates is about
twice as wide as physical screen and has zero height.  I can resize the
window, but this is really annoying.  A simular problem exists when mailtool
creates a child window in which the actual text of letters is displayed.

Has anyone figured out a way to make mailtool work correctly with Motif?
How about a different (no cost) X mail facility that is compatable with 
Sun's mail program?
