Why should people be subjected to such a test? Why should the airlines be subjected to the added expense of training? I'm not saying it's a bad idea to have trained people at the exit rows, I'm just saying that the system has worked fine without that (except that some blind people feel put upon. Personally, I'd rather not sit in an exit row. I've got plenty of major concerns and responsibilities in my life without being responsible for the lives of the pasengers of an aircraft.
