If not boot without it and see if the problem goes away. If you are using ANSI just to view the pics on BBS and such get ANSI.COM and load it when you load Telix. That may also help and ANSI.COM can be unloaded when you are done with it. Another thought, TURN OFF ALL SOUND IN Telix. The sound board and Telix may be fighting. Line noise produces beeps on the remote PC many times. What may be happeneing is that line noise which Flipper is sending to the sound board never gets to your ears because of the conflict when a ctrl-g or some other character that produces sound comes across in the noise burst. Does this only happen when you are using the modem? As a last ditch effort try Qmodem.
