The following paragraph was in a local paper.  I thought that the
readers of this echo would be interested:

"Moviegoers who suffer from hearing loss are understandably
frustrated in theaters.  AMC has just abegun a servicefor the
hearing-impaired in two of its Philadelphia theaters.  Patrons who
request the service are given a lightweight headset that plugs into
a pocket-sized FM receiver.  If the pilot program draws a positive
response, AMC plans to provide the service on its 1,700 screens
nationwide."
