I was doing a bunch of Uutry's (as root) in order to test out my new (used) trailblazer plus that i just bought and all of a sudden the "uustat -m" command simply causes a "Bus error". I tried restoring the old uustat from distribution disk, ran uucleanup, etc. and finally looked in the .Admin directory (this is h+d uucp on esix 5.3.2-c, by the way) and noticed that one of the status files was owned by root. I changed the ownership to uucp and just as suddenly uustat -m worked again! very strange. I also can't seem to recreate the problem... sigh. cosmic rays? derek -- Derek Terveer det@hawkmoon.MN.ORG
