Some people followed up explaining that various parts were broken i.e. the patches depended on the site running B-News. Is anybody working on sorting this out and providing patchlevel 10/fixing patchlevel 9 so it works with both news systems. I am probably going to do this myself but as usual, don't want to reinvent the wheel !! Perhaps subsequent patches can be beta-tested on C-News before posting (you have a willing volunteer here !). Incidentally, it is trivial to get nntp running under System V R3.2 (386/ix) if you have the Interactive TCP/IP implementation - I can post the small changes if anybody is interested.
