Here in the San Francisco bay area, we have at least one feral parrot flock. Some claim that the flock is breeding successfully here. Not sure of species. I sighted a pair of green (South Am?) parrots flying over Mountian View last year. Cockatiels do quite well most of the year. I put up a sign when I lost one of mine. I got a flood of calls, and was offered several "captured" (actually: lonely, looking-for-people) birds. I'm surprised that breeding flocks have not appeared yet. -- |------ | Wayne Caplinger cad.berkeley.edu!tcs.com!WCaplinger | Teknekron Communications Systems or WCaplinger@tcs.com | 2121 Allston Way, Berkeley, CA 94704 415-649-3802 fax: 649-3600
