	This is supposed to be a science newsgroup, not a religion
one! Do you think that you can scientifically demonstrate the
existence of your brand of "God" and "Devil"? Be sure to use the
arguments that you would see being made in a scientific journal.

	And your presumption that people simply "decide" to become
homosexual is dead wrong. Most people who prefer the same sex have not
decided to do so -- it does not seem to be something that they can
control. And the idea that they do that just because they want to be
wicked -- good grief!!!

	Maybe it's genetic (though I doubt it). Maybe it is some
strange environmental effect. It is probably not something very
straightforward or it would probably have been discovered by now. And
the vast majority of homosexuals have been brought up in an
environment that pictures heterosexuality as the only legitimate form
of sexuality. And more than a few have been raised on teachings like
those found in the Bible -- that homosexual acts are "disgusting" (or
"an abomination", depending on what translation you read), and thus
deserve the death penalty (the Bible prescribes death for such
offenses as adultery, incest, and rebellion against one's parents).
Consider that many homosexuals come from families in which
homosexuality is regarded is EVIL, any environmental influences must
be obscure.
