Basically I was passed from division to division to supplier to division, till finally some Toshiba person recommended I ring Email Electronics, which was where I was ringing from !! I gave up in disgust ! Even the service personnel seemed to have difficulty comprehending what a datasheet was ! I have the "hand traced" circuit I made from the Clarion car deck where the 205P is used, and from that I could work out what most of the pins were. The TA7205P is supposedly 7.5W. It requires external compensation, bootstrap capacitor, output coupling capcaitor (delete in a bridge circuit), output stablisation capacitor, input coupling cap and feedback components. I'm not sure what the capacitor beween the + rail and the pin next to the + rail was for ? (If you ever find out Please let me know). Sorry to inflict this tale of woe on you, hope you fare better !
