For saftey reasons I want to use fiber optics. I have two questions. 1. This will not be a very expandable situation. Can anyone recommend an inexpensive unit that they have had good service from? 2. Because of the geometry of the situation we will almost certainly have to splice the cable. Does anyone have a suggestion on the best technology to use in splicing 62.5 multimode plastic fiber? If I get sufficient response I will post a summary to the net.
