I understand that there are two standards for wiring rj-45 jacks for 10Base T ethernet. I would be very interested in hearing which standard other people are using (and why). I also need to know what the technical info for each standard (color code). I think that I saw the technical information on the network a couple of months ago, but I am unable to locate my printed copy. Is anyone using rj-45 jacks and baluns for 3270 communications? Are there any precautions in case a user connects to the wrong jack or port? Thanks in advance......Doug
