I may be an idiot to ask a question like this, but being tired with the
slow data transfer by MS-Kermit from our university mainframe to my
personal computer, I wonder if there is anything like a Zmodem protocol
or something else reasonably fast to get the data more quickly. I know
that Zmodem typically transfers 14K in one minute (2400 baud) while MS-
Kermit only manages 7K. Anyone able to suggest ways for speedier data
transfer, please let me know.
