Has anybody connected a USRobotics Dual Standard modem to a HP 9000/835
running HPUX 7.x or similar?

We are using the standard HP modem cable (the Q-cable), all the necessary
modifications to /etc/inittab have been made (uugetty with -r -t 60) and
have tried to setup the modem with various ways, but nothing seems to work:

We can get connection once (!), but after that the HP refuses to raise DTR
when it gets the RI (ring indicate) from the modem. If the modem is power
cycled everything works ok.

Out of ideas, can anybody help?
