The voice at the other end read back (408) 997-6075. I called *that* number, and nearly had my ears blown off by a loud tone. I was a bit puzzled by the reference to "MCI", since the default carrier at this location is AT&T. Is the carrier for calls to (800) numbers controlled by the recipient?
