Lines: 14 I have recently been given a task to write a Viterbi decoder for the TMS320C25. I have a copy of a variable constraint length version from Sklar, _Digital Communications_, and would have to translate it into C, then use the C compiler to get TMS code out. Since I've heard some horror stories about the C compiler and its inability to optimize its code, I was hoping to find someone who has already gone through this. The algorithm itself need not be exactly what I'm looking for (i.e. Sklar, 3202x family). Thanks. markt@wpi.wpi.edu or tsombakos%edcd@gte.com (617) 455-3587
