You should use m-pmax.h and s-bsd4-3.h (not s-bsd4-2.h) for the ds3100s. If you're unsure of what files to use, look in the emacs source tree, in the file etc/MACHINES. If the system you want to build emacs for is in there, it will tell you what files to use, and sometimes some gotchas to look out for.
