    Well I've finally gotten a version of Gnu Emacs to compile on the RS/6000,
but I've still got a small problem.  When I try to create a version that 
uses the X Menus I get an error in the link phase.  The is    XIOErrorFunction
is an unresolved symbol or external reference.   The makefile is including
the proper libraries to find that function.  As a matter of fact, it seems
to be in two libraries or at least I found it mentioned in two libraries
using grep.  
   If any one has any suggestions to get this final problem out of the way
I'd love to hear them.
