I'm 30 and have always had 'perfect vision' and my parents didn't need glasses until their 50's. However, I spend close to 12 hours a day in front of a high resolution color terminal. Recently my eyes would feel exhaused at the end of the day so I finally convinced myself to get them checked out. It turned out that I need weak glasses mostly to fix some astigmatism that I have. It took some getting used to, but now I always use my glasses and can go all day without feeling tired. The hardest part was admitting to myself that I needed glasses. I should have had them checked a long time ago!! Tom
