Hmmmm .... do they mention compression in the new document?  The LZW
code seems to be a violation of the UNISYS patent.  Perhaps TIFF would
be a better target since the compression method doesn't have to be
LZW and the aspect ratio is already defined in the file.

I have no strong feelings either way ...
