(If I have to choose between software that is good enough that I never need to call customer support except once a year, and then I get bad support, vs. bad software where I'm on the phone to an incredibly helpful support person every week, I'll take the good software every time.) I also think it is a mistake to judge a company as big as Borland by your experiences with one single person on one single day.
