	Some time ago there was a posting about a paper called "Notes on
Writing Portable Programs In C" that was available from sauna.hut.fi.  I
don't have direct internet access, but can use BITFTP.  Normally this is
adequate, but BITFTP won't let me across the pond.  If anyone has this file,
or knows where in the USA I can ftp or anon email it from, please drop me
a note.
