Don't let the BU address fool you - I now work for ulowell, and I'm trying to get our UUCP connections on line. Unfortunately we had no warning either. Out Telecom people thought that we could make do with a modem pool on our new digital phone network, but didn't ask anyone who knew. I'm fighting them on it now. Hopefully in a couple more weeks, everything will be set. I have sent an update to the ulowell map declaring all non-TCP links DEAD, but it was too late for the last batch. Connected sites may feel free to contact me at (508) 934-3645 for information on the status of ulowell. Another note - ulowell will be changing its UUCP name to ul-cs on August 15th. The CS department is moving into its own subdomain, and ulowell will be used by another system in the near future. ============================================================================ Brian O'Neill - Local Internet Access Account Internet: oneill@bu-pub.bu.edu UUCP : ...!bu.edu!bu-pub!oneill
