It was formatted for me when I picked it up from the shop. They set the write-precomp at cyl=128. After checking the specs for my drive from the manufacturer they say that there is no write pre-comp necessary. Is this a problem? Can you change the setting without formatting? BTW I have a DTC disk controller. Any help would be appreciated. Rob Wallen.
