Well, whether or not a 9" B&W monitor 'is just fine' or not doesn't mean that a color monitor is not worth more. And the Educational discount price for a 20mb amiga 500 system is: $1208 You get Bundle: A500P CPU (*WITH* keyboard and mouse! and 512K) 1 meg memory Extra Floppy Drive (two total) Color Monitor (14" !!) for $799. The 20meg drive is $409. Total $1208. Now on the Mac, for $1089, you only get ONE floppy drive and a B&W 9" monitor, and have to buy the keyboard extra (another $100 bucks or so). So your cost will be more like $1189 for the Mac SE/20meg. Only $19 diff and you have color and an extra floppy on the amiga. > -- Ethan >Ethan Solomita: es1@cunixb.cc.columbia.edu >"If Commodore had to market sushi they'd call it `raw cold fish'" > -- The Bandito, inevitably stolen from someone else -- John Sparks | | D.I.S.K. 24hrs 2400bps. sparks@corpane.UUCP | | PH: (502) 968-DISK A door is what a dog is perpetually on the wrong side of. - Ogden Nash
