Summary: perhaps a strange request Keywords: midi wanted device keyboard Message-ID: <1990Jul30.204358.4009@premenos.uucp> Date: 30 Jul 90 20:43:58 GMT Reply-To: worden@premenos.UUCP (Lee Worden) Organization: ACS Network Systems, Concord, CA Lines: 19 Anybody knows of software that allows my A1000 thru its ECE MIDI to emulate a regular keyboard - that is, playing internal samples in response to incoming MIDI ? Alternatively, I need info on hacking MIDI thru the serial port -- using the ECE if it makes any difference (I don't think). Perhaps I get to set the SERB_RAD_BOOGIE bit?! I have Music-X and I find on a disk some kind of a MIDI.device or whatever in with the serial.device ... can I use this? or did the creators of Music-X {highly recommended - great product} build it for their internal use? Any info about either of the above or where to find out... greatly appreciated... mail not post, maybe I will summarize thanks - Lee ~~~~ worden@toaster.sfsu.edu ~~~~~~~~ ames!pacbell!acsdev!worden !!!!! << Big words like CONSTANTINOPLE and KALAMAZOO >>
