Lines: 27 I just recieved the upgrade information for A-MAX II. It (the softw.) will be shipping at the end of July. They want you to send a $50 upgrade fee. This will also entitle you to a reduced rate to upgrade to the AMAX II Plus hardware. Here's a listing of what you supposedly can do with the new soft. 1) Greater compatibility with 68030 systems inc. A3000 2) Hard Drive Support (via a partition) 3) Sound support (yes internal mac sound) 4) ECS support (640x480, 640x960 and Moniterm/2024 support 100x800) 5) SCSI peripheral support (yes virigina you can plug in a MAC CD ROM) 6) WB2.0 compatibility 7) A mac side utility for file transfer between Amigados, which will support conversion of popular file formats. AMAX II PLUS (WHAT THE Hardware upgrade does) 1) fits in an A2000/2500/3000 slot 2) gives you an Apple talk, printer and modem port (for midi) 3) interfaces with your Amiga drives to write and read direct to mac disks. That's the story Hopefully it's helpful Thanks, donb q
