Message-ID: Date: 31 Jul 90 05:02:20 GMT Sender: news@bu.edu.bu.edu Organization: An abandoned subway tunnel beneath Boylston St. Lines: 16 I am developing an itemizing/inventory system for a record store that will be offering a service similar to the Personics system. This system is based primarily on an Amiga and I need a database program that works fast and is easy to operate (so that any clerk can use it by clicking the mouse, not having to read the dictionary of a manual) Two requirements: 1) Must be able to read in a text file and be able to import information into databases 2) Must be able to add up total times in a column - EG, must be able to give a total time listing where the column contains 33:48,44:52,71:08 and so on, and give a total time either in minutes:seconds or hours:minutes:seconds. Any suggestions?
