This is a reconstruction from my notes when I took a look at the pinout to see what was going on. The device apparently consists of back-to-back DB23 connectors. Connection is between Amiga and external disk drive. The F(emale) connects to an external drive, M(ale) connects to Amiga........... F(16)-M(9),F(17)-M(2),F(22)-M(11) F(2),F(9),F(11) not connected M(16),M(17),M(22) not connected .... all other pins connected one to one I made up a connector like this and tried it with the Xcopy III program on Xanth. It didn't work(make a useable copy) but the program appeared to be stepping both disks properly. When I have some spare time I plan on looking at the signals while the program is running to see what the problem might be. Make up a connector and give it a try, I'm sure many would be interested in getting this hardware copier to work. dannys@csd4.csd.uwm.edu
