It has three board (not installed) called "Bus Expander II" by Mountain Computer Inc.. Can anyone tell me what these are used for? It also had a small (1-1/2 by 2 inch) pc board by MCI (Mountain Computer) with six chips/sockets layed out as follows: 74LS14N 16 pin socket 14 pin socket 16 pin socket DM74LS10N 74LS138N It says "03-00709-01 REV A" on the back. Anyone know what it is? I have one other board I was wondering about. It says the following: DYNA COMMUNICATIONS LCR APPLE INTERFACE DC12 Can anyone tell me what it is? Now, to some easier questions. (I have never used an apple before so please forgive my ignorance.) I have a printer (an NX-1000 - w/ parallel interface) that I would like to hook up to the apple. Any problem? I assume I would need a card with a parallel port. Any recomendations? I am also interested in using it at a terminal. I guess I'll need both a term program and a card with a serial port. Possibly a modem as well. (I have one now but maybe I'll keep it where it is and get another for the apple.) Any suggestions on these? Any advice greatly apreciated!
