Summary: My problems are solved Keywords: SCSI ID had to be 0, when all manuals suggested 6 Message-ID: <1990Jul31.232917.24427@lgc.com> Date: 31 Jul 90 23:29:17 GMT References: <1990Jul31.044711.12912@lgc.com> <4427UD182050@NDSUVM1> Sender: max@lgc.com Organization: Landmark Graphics Corp., Houston, Tx Lines: 11 My SCSI problemes were resolved with 2 fixes. I jumpered the drive to supply term power to the bus and then changed SCSI ID to 0. The manual has recommended 6. I tried 6 and 1 which both fail to see the drive. ID 0 works. And yes I have 20 32M paritions. I am thinking about removing the last 15 or 16 until I need them, so screen painting won't take so long (at least until I get my TWGS, next week)... -- Max Heffler internet: max@lgc.com Landmark Graphics Corp. uucp: ..!uunet!lgc!max 333 Cypress Run, Suite 100 phone: (713) 579-4751 Houston, Texas 77094
