In cases like this, the actual error *number* can be useful. There are two possible "descriptors" errors, and the message is the same for both. Error $4242 means there were no File Type Descriptors found in the *:Icons folder. Error $4243 means that File Type Descriptors were found in *:Icons, but the required one with auxiliary type $0000 is not there.
